Job description
This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK’s award winning Bathroom Showrooms with over 30 years experience and dedication in the industry.
We, at ESP Bathrooms are looking for a Retail Sales Representative with Bathroom and Design experience to provide excellent customer service and meet sales quotas for our business.
Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our Showroom will stand out. You will help identify client needs, present and answer questions about our products and services, recommend solutions and produce accurate quotations and Bathroom designs.
Ultimately, your role is pivotal in delivering exceptional customer service and driving increased sales.
Essential Requirements:
Industry Experience/ Background.
Retail Sales Experience.
Design Experience – preferably Virtual Worlds (training provided if required)
Provide the customers with detailed and accurate quotations, familiar with Easy Quote Software preferably. (training provided if required)
Smart/ Professional Appearance.
Ambitious to accomplish set sales targets, aiming to exceed both the monthly and annual sales target.
Responsibilities
Product Knowledge: A deep understanding of the various bathroom products, including fixtures, fittings, materials, and the latest trends in bathroom design.
Customer Service Skills: Friendly and approachable demeanor, active listening, and the ability to guide customers toward suitable solutions for their needs.
Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication, both verbal and written, to explain product features, benefits, and any technical details in a way that customers can easily understand.
Problem-Solving Ability: The capability to identify customer needs and provide solutions, even in situations that may require creative problem-solving.
Up-to-Date on Trends: Awareness of current trends in bathroom design and products to offer relevant suggestions and advice to customers.
Technical Proficiency: Depending on the complexity of the products, some technical knowledge may be necessary, especially for more advanced bathroom fixtures and technologies.
Sales Techniques: Basic sales skills, including upselling and cross-selling, to maximise the value of each customer transaction.
Patience and Empathy: Patience in dealing with customer inquiries and the ability to empathise with customers to create a positive shopping experience.
Organization: Keeping track of inventory, managing displays, and ensuring the store is well-organized to create an inviting shopping environment.
Adaptability: The ability to adapt to changes in products, promotions, or customer demands and stay informed about any updates or changes in the industry.
Full Time – Rota Based (5 days over 7 days)
8 hours shifts
£25, 000 per annual year subject to experience plus commission incentives

Sales Support/ Administrator
This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK’s up-and-coming Bathroom and Kitchen Showroom’s as Sales Support Administrator. At the forefront of our Queens Retail Park Showroom, the Sales Support role plays an integral part in running a smooth and organised Showroom whilst supporting Sales staff with administration tasks and maintaining communication with customer.
It is anticipated that there will be a number of other administrative duties required to provide support to the showroom Sales staff therefore the candidate must be confident in using Microsoft Office in particular Word, Excel and Outlook would be essential, along with strong communication skills and work well under pressure.
Within this position you will be the first port of call for many of our customers and as such it is imperative that you are polite, approachable and most importantly self-motivated to create a brilliant first impression of our business.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
· Communicating with Suppliers and Manufacturers relating to customers’ orders.
· Raising Invoices & Taking Payments.
· Ad-hoc administration support to Sales Team as required.
· Ensure correct paperwork is raised and complete to Support Sale staff processing orders.
· Meeting and greeting customers to the Showroom.
· Caring for and providing refreshments to customers and those who are waiting for a member of sales staff to become available.
· Walk around checks ensuring the Showroom is in order i.e. maintaining displays, switching on TV screens, keeping a tidy café area, ensuring brochures are stocked.
· Introducing customers to the relevant Sales staff.
· Ensuring that the handover to Sales staff is done effectively and efficiently, passing over all appropriate customer details.
· Taking Leads when Sales Staff are not present.
· Taking telephone calls and dealing with enquiries.
· Working with other team members to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction.
· Maintaining a professional manner at all times including customer hospitality.
The ideal candidate will have:
· Experience in a customer facing role, although if you can demonstrate that you are comfortable with meeting new people on a daily basis and enjoy it then this is not essential.
· A confident and customer-orientated approach to their role.
· A strong desire to provide the best customer service possible for the first impression of our Showroom.
